Suitable for small yachts with engines from 6 to 40 hp.
The Variprop 2-blade (DF 80 and DF 107) is the standard propeller for smaller sailing yachts with an output of 6 – 40 kW. The 2-blade is ideal for such sailing yachts since it has very high efficiency under power, as well as very low drag, as it only has 2 blades.
The manoeuvrability is outstanding, since in reverse gear each blade self-adjusts to the optimum pitch.
The VARIPROP 2-blade is ideal for racing and cruising.
A smaller diameter fits where others cannot. It has the shortest hub length of any propeller and therefore is able to fit the smallest apertures and still give 100%. Excellent motor sailing power, incredible control and thrust in reverse, no vibration. Independent external pitch adjustments in both forward and reverse allow elimination/reduction of prop walk . It will not spin under sail having near zero drag giving improved sailing speed and steering.

If you have an aperture, make note of the distances A through F below so that your propeller can fit with proper tip clearance.
A. Deadwood to forward edge of taper
B. Aft end of cutlass to forward edge of taper
C. Deadwood to aft edge of cutlass
D. Shaft centerline to hull
E. Shaft centerline to shoe/foot
F. End of shaft to leading edge of rudder
